with sage oil
Our basic deodorant cream does not contain any fragrances, but in addition to the natural, mineral base recipe, it contains suitable oils with deodorizing properties. The cream is applied with an applicator. The gentle and mild formula is also suitable for the most sensitive skin.
We have significantly increased the proportion of Rügen healing chalk compared to our other basic products. Especially with a deodorant cream, it is important that the escaping acidic moisture is bound and neutralized via the sweat glands. The Rügen healing chalk with its high content of calcium carbonate (approx. 98%) is predestined for this. Very many people today are depilated under the armpits. When applying the deodorant cream, the snow-white natural product from the island of Rügen plays out its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects on small cuts or scratches. Cell biological test results confirm this effect (Prof. Dr. C. Peter Dartsch, study 2011).
In addition to the white gold from Rügen, a healing stone and zeolite skin powder are used. Both natural peloids or natural minerals have physical and chemical properties. They absorb metabolic waste products and exogenous toxins from the organisms of the epidermal microflora.
The detoxification properties are based not only on the absorption but also on the ion exchange function through the sweat pores. This means: Our alkaline deodorant cream with negatively charged polyanions draws positively charged protons (organic metabolic acids such as uric acid, lactic acid, butyric acid) out of the body via the sweat glands in the armpits and binds or neutralizes them. This prevents a bacterial decomposition process and the formation of odors is prevented.
Matching oils complete the formula of the deodorant cream. Castor oil is less common in classic skin care products. However, we appreciate the good protective properties against external influences. Scales are softened and loosened, scar tissue remains elastic.
With a pH value of approx. 8.0, coconut oil has a deodorizing effect. Coconut oil contains fatty acids that kill bacteria responsible for sweat breakdown and odor without irritating the skin. The popular oil creates a smooth, soft feeling on the skin without making it greasy.
Jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a liquid wax. Jojoba oil waxes mix easily with human skin sebum and form a lipid film that keeps the skin hydrated. There is no sealing (occlusive) layer on the skin. We decided to add jojoba oil to our deodorant cream because it deprives microorganisms of their livelihood and cannot be metabolized.
Sage oil is primarily effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses due to its essential oil content and has deodorizing properties. The Latin name Salvia officinalis is derived from the verb salvere and means to heal.
Michael Droste-Laux® alkaline deodorant cream with sage oil is fragrance-free and corresponds to controlled and certified natural cosmetics according to the NCS Natural Cosmetics Standard, a standard of the Society for Applied Business Ethics.
Background: perspiration, antiperspirants and deodorants
Deodorants and antiperspirants have become an integral part of our everyday lives and, after brushing our teeth every day, are the most important morning care ritual. These personal care products bring a sense of security to most users. That's why they never leave home without using it and take it out of routine. No one wants to be in the situation of making themselves uncomfortable.
Sweat itself is odorless because it consists of 97 percent water with a minimal salt content. The salty taste is due to the minerals potassium, magnesium and sodium. The remaining ingredients can be tough and spread an unpleasant smell. It is almost exclusively uric acid, lactic acid and fatty acids that escape through the glands and are broken down with a pungent smell. Everyone has their own personal fragrance and their own personal smell. If you live health-consciously, pay attention to your diet and avoid acid-forming substances, you excrete significantly less acid through your sweat glands.
An antiperspirant works differently than a deodorant. The term anti-perspiration already explains the effect. The sweat glands under the armpits are usually closed with aluminum salts (aluminum chloride) to such an extent that sweat cannot flow sufficiently. Metabolism products then build up exactly there, where the largest lymph glands are located in humans - in the armpit area. The accumulation of sweat can cause skin irritation and itching. Traces of aluminum chloride enter the body through the skin.
Working principle
Glands in the armpits drain watery acidic compounds that have to be excreted. This natural detoxification must not be suppressed. Therefore, this basic deodorant cream binds and neutralizes the escaping moisture and prevents unpleasant, bacterial decomposition processes with odor formation.
Application
For binding and neutralizing moisture and unpleasant odors in the armpits.
Dosage
With slight pressure on the tube, the deodorant cream comes out of the applicator; smear a small amount.
Contents
The following four oils optimize this cream: castor oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil and sage oil.
